Sarah Glisky, LCSW

Sarah currently holds a Social Work license (LCSW) in both New Jersey and in New York after receiving her Masters Degree from Columbia University in 2000. She has more than twenty years experience working in the field of social services with a strong focus on the child and adolescent population and family systems. Her experiences in the field consist of working with hard-to-reach, at-risk populations in diverse settings including group homes, foster care programs, residential treatment centers as well as providing in-home crisis intervention and psychotherapy to families in need of home-based services.

Sarah has experience providing couples counseling, family therapy as well as psychotherapeutic groups. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Sarah strongly believes in working together in partnership with individuals and the family in order to better assist with sustainable change and ongoing growth.
